Guitar Lessons
I have given guitar lessons since I was nineteen (either to groups or individual students). During my lessons we can delve into:
- Techniques of the flamenco guitar & exercises to practise these techniques
- Different forms (palos) of the flamenco guitar
- Jazz Harmonies and their functions
- Scales and where we can apply them
- Learning to play with flamenco dancers
- Learning to play with a flamenco singers
- Your favourite song(s)
- Performing on stage
For starting students we draw a plan of action that allows us to perform melodies as fast as possible. For this we have a wide variety of flamenco techniques at our disposal.
Dance Accompaniment
With over ten years of experience in accompanying flamenco dancers my ambition is to ensure that the dancer delivers the best performance of his/her life. During my time in Seville I accompanied the dance lessons of José Galván, Leonor Leal, Alberto Sellés, Antonio Molina ‘El Choro’ and Luisa Palicio.
Singing Accompaniment
Over the last ten years I have accompanied almost every form of flamenco singing. I have worked with Juanfran Carrasco, Francisco Escudero ‘El Perrete’, Cristina Tovar, Quintin Zamora Camacho and Ismael Solomando.
